Enjoy all day in our living room
Breakfast is available throughout the morning. At the Paleis Hotel, you won’t find overflowing buffets. We aim to do good and avoid waste. We choose healthy, high-quality products from nearby or lovingly made in-house. Our breakfast features hearty wholegrain rolls with seeds, nuts, and grains from ’t Bakkertje, literally just around the corner in the Hofkwartier. Our fruit juices, fresh butter, yogurt, fruit, and farm-fresh eggs come from the organic Hoeve Biesland farm. The strawberry and raspberry jam, as well as our granola, are prepared by our colleagues at sister hotel De Soete Moeder in Den Bosch.

After breakfast, you’re welcome to continue enjoying delicious bites in our living room. First, we serve a platter of sweet delights, followed by an afternoon snack board with savory regional treats. We’re happy to offer these to you, because we’re glad you’re here.

The Paleis Hotel is committed to doing good and works with special partners and suppliers:

• A large part of our breakfast:yogurt, milk, juices, and eggs—comes from Hoeve Biesland, an organic farm in the Hague region. The cheeses on our snack platters and some of the sweet buffet items also come from this farm.
• ’t Bakkertje, with its beautiful history, is right next door to us. This is where the bread for our breakfast comes from. We love supporting local entrepreneurs. Together, we are strong in the Hofkwartier.
• From Kloosterhotel De Soete Moeder, we get our jam, homemade granola, and “Kloostercake.” This sister hotel is a social enterprise, and we love that they make these wonderful products for our breakfast.
• We are proud of our partner for bathroom amenities: Zenology.

Don’t expect decadent luxury here, but rather a unique setting where our team welcomes you with open arms. Thinking along with our guests is second nature to us. True bliss can be found in the expansive 2,000 m² monastery garden. In this urban idyll, enjoy a tasty snack platter and a refreshing drink from our garden café.

De Soete Moeder, located between St. John’s Cathedral and the Prins Hendrik Park, is not your average hotel. Founders Adri and Eline aim to make a social impact. The hotel has proudly held the Green Key sustainability certificate for years. The heavenly monastery garden is organically maintained. The hotel’s mission is to offer young people training through work and give them a helping hand in life. Welcome to this little piece of heaven on earth.
