Does the Paleis Hotel offer the convenience of self check-in?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! You can check in online anytime, 24 hours a day, well before your stay. You’ll receive a message from our booking system, Mews. Once you've checked in online, you’ll receive a digital room key from us on the day of your stay, starting at 3:00 PM. You’ll use this key to access your room in the hotel.During the day, a member of our team is always available to assist you if needed. At the Paleis Hotel, self-service is key—but always in the relaxed atmosphere of a boutique hotel.We operate on trust, so you can truly feel at home. From check-in to check-out, you’re in control with our unique concept. Long live freedom! Instructions about our self-service concept will be sent to you before your stay. Please read the confirmation email carefully.Our standard check-out time is 11:00 AM. Late check-out is possible in consultation with reception, for an additional fee.

Question 2

Is there staff present in the Paleis Hotel?

Until 10:30 AM, a team member is always visibly present to assist with breakfast and check-out. After that, we’re still around, though perhaps less visible—we’ll be working hard behind the scenes to prepare for the arrival of our next guests. After 7:00 PM, there is no staff on-site.However, our Virtual Assistant is available 24/7 and can answer all your questions. Does the Paleis Hotel offer breakfast?

In our living room, we offer a delicious local breakfast for €11.50 per person. The organic farm Hoeve Biesland supplies us with fresh butter, yogurt, fruit, eggs, and juices. Homemade granola and jam come from our sister hotel De Soete Moeder, and the premium bread rolls are from ’t Bakkertje, just around the corner on Oude Molstraat. Naturally, we serve unlimited excellent coffee, tea, orange juice, and apple juice.So, no extensive buffets here, but a carefully curated selection of (local) quality products for a healthy breakfast. Breakfast is available until 12:00 PM.

Where can you park at the Paleis Hotel?

You can park in our private parking area. Reserving a spot in advance is required. The cost is €29.00 per day (from 2:00 PM to 12:00 PM). Please note that the number of parking spaces is limited.To reserve a parking spot, you can call us at +31 (0)70 3624621 or email us at info@paleishotel.nl. Please note that our hotel is located in a low-traffic area. The Paleis Hotel can be difficult to find without instructions. If you’ve reserved a parking spot, we will send you detailed parking instructions.

Does the Paleis Hotel offer packages?

We do not offer packages, but we’re happy to help you book museums, restaurants, attractions, or public transport. We’re only satisfied when you are.We do collaborate with a few restaurants. Our favorites are:Tommy’s & Zuurveen, a refined restaurant using high-quality ingredients for true culinary enthusiasts.Restaurant Pastis, a French bistro located right across from the hotel.Restaurant Pizzeria La Lanterna, perfect for enjoying authentic Italian cuisine.

Can I bring my pet?

Accepted Answer

Small and medium-sized dogs are welcome in our hotel, provided they do not cause noise disturbance. Dogs may never be left alone in the hotel room. If you plan to bring your dog, please let us know in advance so we can assign you the most suitable room. The surcharge for your dog’s stay is €19.50 per night. Other pets are not allowed.

Is there good Wi-Fi in the hotel?

Absolutely! Our Wi-Fi is free and available everywhere, both in your room and in the public areas.

How do I get to the airports Schiphol or Rotterdam-The Hague Airport?

Schiphol Airport:By taxi: You can request a ride through our Virtual Assistant, and we’ll arrange a taxi for you.By direct train: There’s a direct connection from The Hague Central Station to Schiphol Airport.Rotterdam The Hague Airport:By metro: Take the metro from The Hague Central Station to Meijersplein (direction Slinge). From there, a shuttle service will take you to the airport.
